Kingfish Records -
This shop is located at the Oldsmar Flea Market which is open on Saturdays and Sundays only. The owner of this shop is friendly and has pretty good stock. The LP's are a little dusty and quite a few of them are scratchy, but I did manage to walk away with a few good finds. He also has a shop next door that sells CD's and jazz LP's. There are a couple of other vendors selling records at this flea market but Kingfish is your best bet. Definitely a good time here. Highly Recommended. 9am - 4:30pm Sat/Sun 180 Race Track road North Oldsmar, FL Kingfish are located at: F43-48
Mojo Books and Music -
Mojo have moved since the last time I was here in 2011, hereinafter referred to as the Tampa Bay Record Store Day fiasco. I do like the new space. There is a coffee and tea shop inside now. They moved the whole operation a couple of doors down. They have lots of vinyl in all genres. They have tons of books so I did buy a used Tom Petty book but I didn't buy any records this trip due to the prices being pretty high. They had some cool records but the collectible LP's are about 25 or 30% higher than anywhere else I've seen, for example see photos of the LP's below. Mojo's must be pretty proud of those. 2540 E. Fowler. Highly Recommended.
Microgroove Records -
A new shop started up by two guys from the now closed Vinyl Fever. Cool shop, cool vibe. An old garage of some sort from back in the day. Some CD's here but mostly new and used vinyl. All of the vinyl is mixed together new, used, rock, punk, etc. Good prices. I like the shop but it would seem they need to beef up on the used vinyl inventory if they want to be in this for the long haul. 4906 N. Florida. Recommended.
